Fractal X. You Are Therefore I Am

To comfort the label who is subordinate to the artwork like a servant, I decided to create a work that explains the label as well. These works become both a work and a label at the same time. They can only exist when they are together. 하나의 작품에는 그것을 설명하는 한 개의 캡션이 쌍을 이뤄 전시된다.
지시하고 지시받는 이 둘 사이의 고정적인 위계를 뒤엎어보고자, 나는 작품 또한 캡션에 대해 설명하는 작업을 만들기로 했다. 작품이면서 동시에 캡션이기도 한 'FRACTAL 9'과 'FRACTAL 10'은 서로가 서로에 대해 설명하기에 함께 있을 때에 그 생명력을 갖는다. 만약 따로 떨어져 존재한다면 두 작업은 무의미해진다.
